View Full Version : Will we lose any commits
After, the roasting we took saturday. Will we lose any of our commitments for 09? I know that Fl is still trying to recruit the RB from SC that has committed to us.

If a recruit bails on a school simply because of one bad game by his chosen school, he isn't worth the effort. But to answer your question, No, I don't think so.

I don't think we will lose any recruits due to the Florida game. A recruit wants a chance to go to the NFL. We are getting our games on television which gets them exposure. We have a chance to go to three bowl games in a row which gets National television coverage. And also, they know they have a chance of coming in and playing. Look at all the freshmen that are playing for us right now.
I agree that one game should not change a recruit's mind. Do you think Florida lost any when they got beat by Mississippi at home?

Did Georgia lose any recruits after their blowout loss to Alabama? Did LSU after the Tide beat them so soundly on Saturday? Did Kansas lose any recruits as a result of their blowout loss (63-21) to Texas Tech on Saturday? How about Colorado, losing 58-0 to Missouri?
I doubt that one game is going to change someone's mind.

The coaches will have to stay on top of it. Our recruiters are pretty good but we could lose someone for an number of reasons...even if they read too much negativity on this website. ;)

Yes, I think so. I hear LSU has lost all of their commits so far because of the beatings they took from Florida and Georgia.... *DWS*
