I'd like to try it, but at $100.00 a bottle it's a bit out of my price range.

Not all of their offerings are that high, at least not the last time I checked. The 23 y/o is(was) around $190, the 20 y/o-$100. They also offer a 15 and 12 y/o and they are not that expensive, considering.

I live in a "dry" town, but may be heading to Richmond or Lexington soon. If so, I'll look for one of their less expensive offerings.

I lived in Corbin for a while several years back. It was about as dry as my bathroom floor after my 2-year-old finishes taking a bath...

I believe you know what I meant. Besides, I've never known a bootlegger that sold top of the line whiskey. All the ones I've known sold the cheapest stuff they could find and charged near top of the line whiskey prices for it. We do have alcohol in some of the restaurants here now, there just aren't any package liquor stores.

I've never understood the concept of a dry county? It just makes a market for bootleggers and deprives the county of taxes.

It is, in my opinion, pretty foolish. I've always felt that people who want to drink will travel any distance and pay any price for it.

Ahh...brings back memories of going to the bootlegers in woodbine. The funniest thing i remember about it was being asked, you boy's are 21 ain't ya?
