Im right there with you. I watched more of the UK game as well. No smack great game by the Cats. That was a great football game. Im trying to figure out what I want more, a championship in basketball this year or for Kragthorpe to be gone.I guess I have to pick the basketball championship but but getting rid of Kragthorpe is running a close 2nd. I really loathe this guy. Again great game by the Cats.

Right here. I didn't watch the Cats play. I take it they had another one of those "almost" wins. Did you tear down the goalposts this time?

no we tear the goal posts down when we beat ranked teams
number 9 Loserville last year
number 1 LSU last year
and georgia the year before
you missed a great game today Yule..cats played great agianst a very good Georgia team..we just came up short........it sure was alot better than watching your cards get plummetted by Pitt
at least we made an effort

You must have been too busy watching UL get a mudd hole stomped in them by the freakin Pitt Panthers.

I'll hand it to the UL fans who are not afraid to visit after an ugly game.
Remember that Kragthorpe had a ton of disciplinary messes left behind to deal with, was at the end of the great run of local talent UL had landed, and was forced by Jurich to keep assistants he didn't want including the defensive coordinator. Don't get down on him yet.

If I were a UL fan, I would take a melon spoon, jam it in my eye sockets, then pop my eyeballs out. At least that way I wouldn't have to watch my team suck a golfball through a garden hose every week.
Oh snap! :icon_mrgreen:

Look who's trying to talk smack about "almost wins". You guys wrote the bleetin' book on trumpeting losses and calling them almost wins. We lost to Georgia yesterday. A great game and great effort, yes, but we lost. The difference between Cardinal fans and UK fans is we aren't happy with a loss but we still acknowledge effort and WE STILL SUPPORT OUR TEAM.
You guys went into last season predicting a BCS run and an undefeated season. You lose to UK by a TD and then you spend the rest of the season (and to date, this one, as well) bad-mouthing your own team, not being satisfied when you do get a good win (i.e, South Florida), and raking your coach across the coals.
Oh, and did I forget to mention? There's also the little detail about your AD and Louisville's mayor bragging because you lost the Final Four, putting up billboards about it, and holding pep rallies downtown.. about a loss!!
Same old Cardinal double standard. If other teams do it, you make fun of it, if the Cardinals do it, it's perfectly acceptable and proper.
Get real, will ya?:icon_rolleyes:

I now know why you UL fans come over here to our smack board....I decided to venture over to insidetheville last night ( why I have no clue) and that place is nothing but trash.....some of the posts I read made me sick
UL fans smacking and name calling about our football team
Did they not watch UL yesterday?

TBCF, I'm gonna have to give 4TC, Yuleofell, and Cards R Best a pass on this one. I've been on the "insidetheville" site for about 45 seconds and knew it wasn't worth wasting my time, for the reasons you mentioned and more.
The Card fans who post here regularly have proven they're good people who know where to draw the line on the smack stuff. If they spent any time at all on the insidetheville site, the collective IQ of that group would go up about 600 points.
Thank goodness I'm not a Card fan, but if I were, I wouldn't give that site the time of day and I would probably spend my time on a Wildcat board myself.

Well, at least your team did not get shut out by Wyoming. Freaking Wyomng? By the way, Fulmer will be looking for a job pretty soon.....

Yeah, that one kinda shocked me too. I didn't even know Wyoming had a football team.

Joking aside, do you think he will look to coach again, or do you think his $6 million going away gift guarantees that he'll head for easy street? I can imagine him and Bill Curry in a broadcast booth together . . .
Who do you think UT is looking at right now to fill the position?

I expect Fulmer opens a chain of fastfood chicken restaurants and call `em,
Gitcher Phil of Chicken
Sell giant buckets containing 24+ pieces of chicken.

One of my UL fan friends was talking about wanting Phil at UL. I told him he was out of his mind. First off Tommy is not going to fire Krag this year or next so Phil will have a job by then. Not to mention that Phil is REALLY overrated as a coach. He gets top recruiting classes every year and does very little with them.
