Reading about the woes in the receiving corps make me wonder about young Mr. Ford.

Is he still out from the knee injury?

He did participate some Saturday but I don't know about today since I didn't attend. Will watch for him Wednesday though.

I saw him on the field but to be honest, didn't pay him a lot of attention. He'll be OK, though. One thing Ford can, and will, do that a lot of receivers, even experienced ones, don't like to do: he will block people. That's an often-overlooked trait when evaluating WR's but in fact, most long runs from scrimmage will include a good block or two by the little guys. I think this year's offense will most certainly try to feature Little and the other backs, thus, WR's capable of making and sustaining their blocks will be at a premium.

If I get out there tomorrow, will try and get a longer look at him and report back.
