Are you really trying to compare losing to a ranked team to losing to VMI....really?

Yeah we've been dishing it out all football season, so we better be ready now. We are a young team, 1 senior, and this is going to happen when a senior laden team who can hit the 3 comes into town. Everyone plays their "A" game for Ky. Fact of life! Oh well, on to another bowl game after we beat Vandy. I say Peach!!! What bowl game will the Cards be in 4?

Probably none, but do you think your basketball team will make the tourney?

Probably will, because the SEC is so weak, but it will probably be a first round flame out...again.

It is the first game of the season it is a far cry from the end of season. UL barely beat Georgetown College are you concerned?

Kind of hard to beat anybody when you play NO defense..your star player is a no show and the other team hits everythng they put up there....why Gillespie made no adjustments is beyond me

team come tourney time. Bank on it. Unlike the Tubby years, Gillispie teams get better as the season progresses. Come March, look out. I'm not saying final four, but we won't lose in the first round either. Wishful thinking on your part. Now about that football program???

Yes there's a diffrent between that but as a number 5 team you should've killed them. You are not a Final Four team this year.

VMI lead the nation in scoring the last 2 years. They play no defense.

UK did not lead the nation in scoring. Still did not play any defense.

I'm amazed at how teams come in and shoot so well in Rupp. They hit some great shots. They had too many open 3's. They hit their FT's.

I've not seen the boxscore, had to work last night and just got out of bed.

I'll be completely honest right now. I was really worried about VMI before Friday's game. I didn't think our point guards could control the tempo. I wasn't sure we could keep up with them. VMI played the best game they will play all season. We played terrible. They deserved to win. Now your Cards have a pretty good squad. There is no reason you should lose to us. We will be 25 point underdogs going into our rivalry game.

When we beat you later this season, my post in this forum will look like this...

A two point spread. Unless you consider that ties are the norm and count as barely lost/won.

Well since they can't really end in a tie in college anymore I would assume that it would be one point still because there is no tie so it would be one point in either direction. If you want to be picky about it then 2 would also work. Since you being here is more about pointing out your fellow fans than actually talking smack then it is 2 then.

All I was doing is suggesting it would be a two point difference versus one. :icon_confused:

I DO see lots of benefit to smack a team over their win versus our loss.:thumbup:

Not just this post I was referencing. It is a matter of how you look at it as far as the point spread between a loss and a win goes. Not to mention I wasn't smacking him on it really just joking with his difference between a win and loss line. But, in reality when I said the line about you smacking fellow fans I was talking about the three to four different posts that I have seen in this forum alone over the past couple days in which you called a UK fan out. If you want to do that in the regular forums oh well but in the rivalry forum is suppose to be a us versus them mentality not a us versus us.

I do see a benefit in your condescending smilies and thumbs up.
