Hope this is the correct forum for this question. What is the ball park figure per person to attend the Maui Invitational? I know prices have increased but was just wanting a figure from some of you that attended the last one.
Thanks

It will be pricey no doubt. I went the time before last and took my wife and 2 daughters. We made our own reservations and got a condo near the tourney site. Bought single game tickets, etc and the cost of the trip was about $1500 per. 2002 thru UK travel was $2300 per. 2006 trip was listed for about $3k per for air, hotel and game tickets. 2010 will be even higher probably.
You have to add on your meals, and other typical touristy expenses. If you make your own resevations, you can shave several $ off the cost of going through Commonwealth Travel which is usually the official travel for the UK trip.
Better start saving now if you want to go. It is a fantastic trip and I would love to go again.

I went to the '93, '97 and '02 tourney with my family. I think it was about $1000 per in '93 and about $1600 per in '02. I'm saving up cash right now to go in 2010.

Is a Lexington travel agency putting together a package?
Is a Lexington travel agency putting together a package?
Have not seen anything yet, but they generally do and they fly with and stay at the same hotel as the team. Complete package can include coaches banquet and Thanksgiving dinner with the team.

My wife and I are interested in going and we wanted to go with other Wildcat Fans. Sounds like the group package is what we are looking for. :5x Thanks for the info.

My wife and I estimated our 2006 Oahu/Maui trip at $3000.00 including airfare (buddy passes), tickets, lodging, meals and attractions. I posted some helpful information back then but the search function can't seem to locate it using keywords. Two things I can tell you is if you plan on staying for 5 or more days, rent a condo for more bang for the buck and eat at the Aloha Mixed Plate for good & cheap food in Lahaina.

Almost forgot. That price also included a 5-day rental car (Buick Lucerne) on Maui and a 1-day rental (minivan) on Oahu.
Click here (http://www.mauiinvitational.com/tickets/travelagent.asp) for travel package info but if you want to go the cheaper route, get on their mailing list so you can be emailed when tickets go on sale. As you can see, a little legwork saved us approximately 50% from the package prices.
