We'll see those rankings come January, when the Big East does what the SEC does in football every year. Beat each other up.

You probably won't see any other SEC team in there, UT is the only SEC Caliber team right now.

now you get to see what it's like to play in a REAL conference in a sport. Too bad you won't win a conference title again. Has Pitino EVER won the Big East? Man if UK had a coach for that long without winning a conference title, he would be history!

Yeah, just ask Tubby. Who, by the way, is 8-0 at Minnesota....BWAAAAAAAAA!

So How long are you going to give Billy Cried?

and he won plenty of conference titles and SEC tourneys in his 10 seasons at UK. Get your facts straight.

Tubby resume speaks for itself while he was at UK,,he is a class act coach and I am happy he is 8-0

He's not interested in facts, especially if they don't favor U of L.

TUbby did more while he was at UK than Pitino has done at Loserville

How freaking long are you all going to give him

BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Longer than you guys are going to give Kooperthorpe.

As long as he wants that is how long we will get. It doesn't matter if they get a championship or not UL fans are so happy with those final fours that they will let the guy stay and get good recruiting classes and do absolutely nothing with them.

Tubby was more or less forced out. The truth. Late in his last year Mitch told him the assistants would have to go, and Tubby came back with a suggestion for a new staff that would include Saul. Mitch said no, Tubby stepped. You can refute me all you want, but on this sight and the old faithful sight I have never given anything but the real deal on these things, and will stand by it.

I heard the same thing. But I heard GG instead of Saul.

But in the real world. You do what your bosses tell you. If you don't like it, I guess you either pout, or move on. Tubby moved on.

it very well might be true....who knows...I am glad Tubby moved on..he deserved better than what he recieved......he seems happy and he is doing very well

that being said, Tubby is exactly where he needs to be. He can probably win 20 games a season and throw in an NCAA tourney team every now and again, and he will be adored and loved. But at Kentucky we want title contenders and Mitch knows that and so does Billy G.

And those contenders are on their way. If one can't see that, there's something wrong with their see'er!

I better go to the see'er Doctor then, because all I have seen since Billy Cried has got there is a team that loses to mid majors every year and flames out in the first round of the tourney.

flamed out? we were without our star in the post and we barely lost to one heck of a tough team. we were playing the 5th seeded marquette and almost pulled off the upset and we would have if patterson had been there

Priceless from a team that has started out with a better seed than UK the past few years and all you have to show for it is one final four which you were lucky to get to. Other than that exception UL has flamed out every year. But this year will be different right?

Tyler, you make valid points but he isn't interested in any facts unless they favor U of L. We could have won the game by 30 with all five starters on the bench for the last five minutes and he would find fault in it.

To say nothing of the fact that they LOST but came home acting like they won. They get more mileage out of a bleetin' loss than they do a victory.
