Rivals has released their first rankings for the 2010 class. UT was 6th, and Louisville was 4th. At first I thought I was looking at their football page, but then much to my delight, I discovered it was basketball. I know it's early and much can change, because I think the Vols can move up a little higher.

Link? I wasn't aware Rivals released their team rankings this early.
2010 will be a good year for Kentucky as well. Dominique Ferguson's going to be a special, special player.

Kentucky has the #6 overall prospect and a *** player in KC-Ross Miller who will be a top 100 player before it's said and done, IMO.

Well, I guess when I did not see UK in the top 10, I figured it must be football.

I would be willing to bet that by the time it is all said and done UK will be in that top 10. They will add another big time player to that recruiting class.

Did anyone notice UNC is #1 for 2009 and #7 for 2010? They just keep piling up the players.

I live in Columbus and I'm going to tell you I can't wait until our Cats have to play the Buckeyes b/c they will be good as long as Thad stays here. During our coaching search HE was my first choice. The man recruits, well. P.S. don't sleep on them this year, either, that Evan Turner, while a sophomore, is a star.

Nothing new just a different year. Them and Duke do it just about every year that is why they are constantly at the top of the top 25. Sometimes you loss huge chuncks to the NBA but they just reload. But, they will just go back to being choke artist like Duke after Tyler leaves because he has the heart and that is one thing that team always lacks in March. That is why they underachieve in proportion to their talent level. IMO

The rich get richer. Old Roy can recruit a little.

They won the title without Tyler in 2005. I think they could easily catch UK's seven titles and pass us in the next 5 years or so. They will have so much talent that they could make a run like Florida's or like UK's form 96-98.
