It's a Saturday game. 1 pm start, and you all say that there are more UK fans in Jefferson County than UofL. Here's your chance to prove it. Anything less than a sell out and I will be shocked.

No they won't sell out.

I say around 13000.

I think if they played the game there early december and a decent oponent, then they could fill it.

If we don't sell it out, will you loan us the blowup dolls and crowd noise that Jurich uses?:shrug1:

I doubt they sell it out. When we used to play Notre Dame and Indiana in the Hall it was a given, but the teams we play here now just won't bring them out.

crappy team ..high ticket prices... on TV

won't be a sell-out but still a good crowd

do you all go to another town and play and have that many fans in the stands.......I did not think so

Probably not. For a lot of reasons including the ones already mentioned.
Let's face it, the Cards don't sell out FH every game and Kentucky doesn't sell it out all the time either and in the overall scheme of things, it just isn't that big of a deal. Oh, I know it always gets brought up and it's usually good for about three pages of smack, but that's about it.

4TC, this year, could you just ONCE not start that crap about how many fans UK has in Jefferson County? We all know if the truth be known, you could care less if UK sells every seat in the place or only sells 10,000 seats. Either way, it wouldn't prove SQUAT to you about how many fans UK has in Jefferson County and you'll just wait around until the next time you can bring it up and start the whole thing over again.

And no, I'm not mad, upset, aggravated, not feeling well, or anything like that. It's just time you bring in some more creative material. Besides, If I did respond, I would just bring up the same facts I always do and you would either ignore them or poo-poo them, like you always do. So, what's the point?;)

to see how the open practice does on Friday night. Used to love this when Joe B and Eddie Sutton did it. Unfortunately Pitino stopped it when he was the coach. Glad Billy G is doing it again. UK needs to stop playing in Louisville during the holidays. And 4 the game is at noon !

Pathetic turnout; Uk should use Louisville Gardens for a crowd this small.

The reality of this is we care as much about UK not selling out FH as you guys do, meaning very little or not at all.

We all knew one of you was going to have to say something, and you did.

Can we give this a rest now? Sheesh...:icon_rolleyes:

if you look at the history the last time we had a sell-out was when we played IU there...in 2003..we had 20,000 there

I did not go becasue I did not want to pay $80 to see this crappy APP State team play
on TV and had too much going on today as we are getting ready to do Christmas tomorrow

You've got a lot of nerve, dude. That crowd in Cinn. (same drive as from Lex) was really pathetic. And YOU have a ranked team. What excuse can you come up with for that??
Do you remember what Huggins said about the UK fans in Vegas this year? How many fans do you have in Arizona? Spin away now because you are really looking like a FOOL!

Where did you see 80 bucks for a ticket? I payed 30 a piece for mine and was well worth seeing Jodie go off for 46.

I'm glad they play at Freedom Hall. Gives folks a chance to see them that normally can't. It was an enthusiastic crowd. I especially like to watch the young kids. Not the crowds from the IU and Notre Dame days.

No...It is a Jewish holiday or something like that. Wasn't that your reason recently with attendance smack?

Maybe if you came around more often, instead of just when UofL loses, you'd know I never made such a statement.

I use the collective "you" to represent any of your fans and your use of hyper-spin. Like todays loss being cause by poor scheduling... LOL Jurich and Pitino are rubbing off on you guys.

Playing a game in Freedom Hall gives me an oppurtunity to take my father a game, and enjoy the game without dreading the almost 2 hr drive.

I had a little fella sitting next to me today and he was quite the fan. Cheering all the time, waving every time they shot freethrows and even made a comment about the "big east refs". I enjoyed talking to him and he enjoyed my game stories about Rupp and such. He had never been and was high fiving, cheering, jumping and everything. I love seeing such passion in young UK fans, reminds me of myself when I was his age :icon_biggrin:

Btw, Jodie seemed to like the Freedom Hall rims today, better change em' before January.

I almost spit out my tea when I heard that come out of Pitino's mouth about bad scheduling. Can you even believe he would try to use that as an excuse?? Tubby owns his butt and he knows it. You won't see Minnesota on the schedule next year! LMAO!

The bad scheduling was having a game in Cincinatti on thursday night and turning around and flying out to Phoenix for a game on Saturday. Tubby had ten days off before the game. Not that that's an excuse, but certainly didn't help matters.

Anyway, 10,000 fans at Freedon Hall. It gets lower and lower every year.

Yeah, and I'll bet it's all of about 10 seconds (long enough to think: "Good, now I can zing 'em on the board") that you even gave it any thought at all. :icon_mrgreen:;)

How many did the Cards take to Phoenix?? And how many fans were in Cincy? You are a top ten team right? Should have had a bunch up there!! By the way, tell Jurich to give us some dates before July so we can schedule a decent opponent for Cheatum Hall next year.

To be fair to our mentally challenged breathren, Louisville is in Kentucky - Cincy is not - thus, it's not quite a fair comparison - retarded or not.

I agree with what you say there, but you know they will bring more than Norfolk St, or Middle tennessee State or whoever. I don't think fayette or Jefferson county turn down the revenue (restraunt, hotel) whenever they get to host the game.
