Hey all,

I came by this site looking for obit information on a friend that passed last week, Troy Russelburg (wheelcat). I have seen at least one other person that I know posting on the thread about Troy.

I live in Middle Tennessee in nursery country. All the trees, shrubs and bushes that you could hope to see. I work with chickens (subsidiary of Perdue Farms, Inc.) and have been at it since I got out of school in 1991. I did make a brief escape to loan money to farmers in Georgetown for a couple of years, 1993-1995, but came back to it.

I try my best to keep up with the Cats in both football and basketball. That is not easy in this area but the internet helps. I would see more games if I had satellite or cable but I really can't justify the expense for them given the time I have to watch and all the other things I would rather spend time at (i.e. church, shooting, fishing, etc.) I did get to watch the Florida Atlantic game last Saturday while visiting the folks for Christmas. I like most of what I see from the roundballers.

Glad to have found this site. GO CATS!!

Thanks,
Todd

Good to have you join us, Todd. Just wish it was under different circumstances. Troy was a longtime friend of mine and I will miss him immensely.

I have also known Greg Hillard as long as I can remember. Greg and Troy were/are my lil brothers best friends. Greg is the preacher at my parents church.

Again, great to have you at WCN, hope you stick around and post.

Welcome Todd, this is the best place to talk about our Cats. The most civil board around. Now, you gotta watchout for a couple of guys, one of which will have a quick whistle and throw a technical on ya :icon_mrgreen:, but he's harmless, he's old and won't remember what it was for. :icon_lol:

Thanks for the welcomes from all.

Wildcat Rick, I moved to TN from Ohio County last year (did chickens there too). Greg and I go way back to FFA days in '87-88. The only fault I can find with him is his choice in colleges. Just Kidding. WKU was like home to him the same way UK was to me growing up 45 minutes away. Greg and I have smoked a few pounds of pork in the last few years. The FFA Alumni group there kept me busy when I wasn't chasin' chickens. He has been a great friend and one of the calmest, coolest people I've ever been around.

I only get on a couple of other forums (both gun related) but this one seems nice and friendly. I can get on this one at work for a few minutes and poke around. The company filter blocks the Ruger and S&W forums I belong to so I either go to the library or mostly miss out lately.

Glad to be on board - Go Cats!!

Thanks,

Todd
