Wow, so much promise, so much anticipation and let's see....... Boston Rick in his 8th season as head coach with the best team I've ever coached has lost for the 3rd time this young season to an unranked team. Not to mention they were at home and UNLV was without their leading scorer!! Even with a win Sunday, Cards fans still have to be disappointed. Who would have thought at this point in the year, we would have the same # of losses??

I just hope they lose sunday to an unranked UK.
Could we be so lucky to see them loose two in a row? :icon_mrgreen:

You could look at this in so many ways.
UL could come in and want blood and take it out on UK
UL could have a serious shooting slump carry over to the UK game
UL could have been hurt mentally tonight as young as they are it doesn't take much to stick in their mind for more than a night.
Depends on how they take the loss I guess.

if we win we might not see them for awhile, but if UL wins, they will be on here around 6:30pm

We only have 1 loss against an unranked opponent.

I have said it before and I will say it again; UL is not deserving of a high ranking at this point.
UL's loss to UNLV was the worst thing that could happen for UK's chances of winning Sunday. There is no way Ul loses two in a row without one heck of an effort. You had a chance they might sleepwalk through another game until the UNLV loss.
Rankings do not mean much at the beginning of the season. Saying you lossed to ranked teams who no longer are ranked doesn't impress anyone. Did they go down in ranking for not beating you by enough?

You finally said something that I am pretty much in agreement with you.
