Who's Better?
Season Summary - UK
Wins over KSU and WVU(Blew out OSU the other night) Cupcake Schedule
Burned by UNC and outplayed by Miami. Two quality teams who can impact the NCAA come march.
UL- Losses to three Unranked(Minn at the time), two at neutral sites, one in Freedom Hall. Minnesota was definitely a surprise, but them losing to MSU doesn't help them much. I don't see WKU making the NCAA tourney, Minnesota maybe, and UNLV is a another maybe.
So now, who's better? Feel free to add to either team.

The better question might be " Who is more likely to choke?"

Well, since you obviously included U of L in that comment, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and not comment. LOL! :icon_mrgreen:

Ill say it . At this point in the season UL has to be the most disappointing team in the NCAA. Period!! Now on the Sunday do I think UL can go out absolutly destroy UK?Yes I do!! However I thought that about a couple of the losses. So Im at the point to where I dont know what team will show up for the Cards. If UL comes out and jumps all over the Cats we will by double digits. If the Cats dont go away and hang aroung or keep the lead for a long period the Cats will probably win because the Cards just havent won the close ones and dont see them doing here either. I think its in their heads until they learn how to play as a team. Right now I say UL has better talent but right now UK plays better as a team. As always I want to beat the snot out of the Cats but right now Ill just take a 1 point win and no one to get hurt for either team GO CARDS!

Don't like that word at all, especially when it's applied to 18-20 year old kids. Now, can one team play tight and timid? Yes, and I hope its uavel. :icon_biggrin:

Choking is what they did best since '86.

Right now, UK is better.
Who knows if we'll win the game on Sunday (throw out notions of "good" and "bad" in rivalry games), but Louisville is discombobulated--and what's more, they're not playing hard. They were atrocious the other night. Didn't think I could see a team play worse than I saw in the Minnesota game, but I saw it against UNLV. A lot of sleepwalking by the Cards' best players, and that's never good. NBA dreams if I were guessing.
Still think UofL has a higher ceiling than UK, but if Pitino can't get them on the same page, it doesn't matter what kind of talent they have.

I call it a toss up. Louisville is probably the most disappointing team of Fall 08. Who is more disappointing? A new year starts and I expect Louisville to be a different team.
