View Full Version : Need info on Blake Gumm - Pulaski County
Saw this kid listed as an OLB that is interested in UK. What piqued my interest were his measurables.
6-3 285 4.85
Looks to me to be a DT in the making. For those that have seen this kid, is he a player or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Found this information from a poster on bluegrassprep.com. Will try to find more.
Pulaski Co. 62 Taylor Co 6
Maroons bounce back in a big way. As I predicted in the lead-up thread about this game, the Maroons showed-up and played outstanding football tonight. Brett Faulkner was efficient at QB going 13-19 for around 170 yds and 2 TD's. John Allen had two TD receptions and 2 more TD runs. Tyler Todd had 2 TD runs. Tyler Sexton was finally able to play defense and was a monster before his night was cut short, but I will get back to that later. Sexton had two QB sacks including a beautiful club move where he stripped the ball from the QB and proceeded to run it in from around 45 yards out. Blake Gumm anchored the D with 13 tackles, 11 before the end of the 1st half. Taylor was forced into 5 fumbles and lost another on a mishandled snap. Taylor's score came on their next-to-last KO return and was against the Pulaksi Frosh. unit. All in all, it was a dominant performance by the Maroons and one that they sorely needed to get off on the right foot in the district.
Thanks and I really would like to hear from someone that have put an eye on this kid. Is he actually 285 and nimble enough to be playing LB in high school?
