Center
Bradenton (FL) Pendleton (IMG Academy)
AAU: Team Florida
Ht: 6-foot-10
Wt: 250 lbs
Class: 2009 (High School)

Kyryl is originally from the Ukraine and has been in the United States for less than a year. He is a versatile big man with good size and is comfortable in both the low post and high post position. His range extends out to about 17 feet and he can create offense for himself. In the low post he is developing solid up and under moves as well as a drop step and can score over his left shoulder. Kyryl is a solid athlete, rebounder and runs the court pretty well. He is decent defensively but has the tools to be a solid defender, he just needs to improve his aggressiveness and remain consistent with his effort. Kyryl is one of the top 10 center prospects in the 2009 class nationally.

Rivals, Scout, and ESPN all rank Kyryl as a top 10 Center for 2009.

Rivals currently ranks him as a 4 Star Prospect (75th overall in the nation): http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=84218&Sport=2

Scout currently ranks him as a 4 Star Prospect (51st overall in the nation): http://scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=3765115

ESPN grades him out at 95 (31st overall in the nation): http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/player?recruitId=67247&season=2009&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncb %2frecruiting%2ftracker%2fplayer%3frecruitId%3d672 47%26season%3d2009

There aren't many Top 100 prospects in the 2009 class still available, but Kyryl Natyazhko is still out there and he doesn't appear to be in a hurry to make a college decision.

Natyazhko Takes Visits

One of the best available big man – Kyryl Natyazhko – hit the road again this weekend.

Since arriving in the United States from Ukraine, Natyazhko, a standout at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, has worked his way into Scout.com’s Top 100 and has earned a number of high major scholarship offers.

Lately the four-star big man has been hitting the road. He’s visited Ohio University and Xavier in recent weeks, then this past weekend he made his way to Pittsburgh and took in the Panthers game against Connecticut.

To go with Ohio, Xavier and Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Florida State, Miami, Arizona State and Charlotte are also in the mix for Natyazhko. Natyazhko is ranked No. 64 overall and No. 10 on the Scout.com’s 2009 center list.

Going to Arizona..... Out of the horses mouth..

Yeah....and watching him play at the Derby Classic, the guy's not bad!!! Not bad at all! He was big, physical, tough on the glass, a good shot blocker, and could score close to the basket. Looked very fundamentally sound. I think Sean Miller got a good one for his Wildcats out West.....
