Hey guys!

I'm MrBigShot_23, and I live on the West Side of Michigan and been a devout Kentucky basketball fan (along with U of M of course) since I was about 7 years old.

As lame as it sounds, it basically boils down to me reading a Sports Illustrated article about Kentucky and liking the blue of their jerseys. Obviously my passion for Big Blue basketball runs deeper than that now, but I'm sure the majority of the guys here are bigger fans than me. Its difficult to catch up with all the Wildcat news being in Michigan and not seeing the games on TV (I listen to most on radio from the Kentucky website) a lot.

But I'm here to learn more, add what I know and have an overall good time!

Favorite teams:

College Basketball - Kentucky, with Michigan a close second
College Football - Michigan (a 3 year season ticket holder)
NFL - Detroit Lions (I know, laugh)
NBA - Detroit Pistons
NHL - Detroit Red Wings (NHL is probably pretty non-existent here haha)
MLB - Detroit Tigers

PS - If you were wondering about my username it originally applied to Chauncey Billups (nickname Mr. Big Shot) and my favorite number 23, but I think you guys all know who my username can apply to these days! :icon_lol:

There are some NHL fans here, but not many. Some here even think my avatar is a duck.:icon_rolleyes:

I knew going in to the Stanley Cup lack of defense would kill us and it only got worse this season. Cant give up 50+ shots on goal take 20+ shots and win very often.

The UP is one of the most underrated vacation spots in the whole entire US. In the summer and fall it is absolutely beautiful up there, and its like a whole different culture and way of living.

I don't know about living up there full time though! :icon_confused:
