LOUISVILLE - Disappointing seasons by both the University of Kentucky and University of Louisville probably raised the interest level of last night's Derby Festival Basketball Classic at Freedom Hall.
And as the 14,072 intrigued fans in attendance found out, help is on the way for both the Cats and the Cards.
The game didn't have the feel of a typical all-star game, as both teams played hard and got after it on the defensive end. The result was a thriller, as the White team, led by three UK recruits, outlasted the Black and its two Cardinal signees, 118-106 in overtime.
