Cat fans afar like to know- there are more Cat fans than Tard fans in Louisville. Louisville-living Cat fans in Nashville, during the SECTournament,estimated that it is more like 60-40 UK fans rather than the 50-50 always mentioned:

L has a media bias though which will shrink a little in 2007 as WHAS comes back to UK.

SamKat, last season I read a newspaper article in which stats were shared about which basketball team folks residing in Louisville were watching on television on a night UK and Louisvillewere playingat the same time.While I forget the percentage who were watching the UK game, I remember that it far surpassedfifty per cent. That was the most convincing evidence I had ever read about how UK fanseven dominated the city of Louisville. Regardless, as you say, theLouisville media, however,is an entirely differentstory.
