It just brings tears of joy to my eyes, to think of her, in that bikini, watching the Cats play ball. GOD BLESS THE GREAT STATE OF KENTUCKY AND OUR BELOVED WILDCATS !!!!!!

Make sure she is in blue on the posters ;) I tuned in when they were picking the final 5. Had no idea, with no state banners on, who the finalist were. In fact they were naming the 3rd one when I turned it on. What a very pleasant surprise to hear them say "Miss Kentucky"!!! Good for the state, good for UK Bball. I see her making the "Y" at a game.

Lake Cumberland will be especially busy this summer.;)
It's great for the state of Kentucky. She is a lovely woman. I can't believe that I didn't watch the pageant. Watching UK Basketball is a great hobby.:thumbup

They don't ruin this competition by pretending that beautiful women need to be talented in some entertaining fashion.

Most women look bad, IMO, in the low cut jeans.
This is not one of those women.

FWIW,
The girl won Miss USA, which is different (and less prestigious) than Miss America.

Someone find out how to get ahold of her and I'll ask her to join WCN! (You don't need to contact her, I will take care of that!) :ggrin:

I don't look at it that way at all. Miss USA goes on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.

good Lord! She won. Why do you feel the need to put her down? I thought it was grand and was very excited for my home state. It's about time Kentucky won one of these beauty contests. After all Kentucky is the state known for fast horses and beautiful women.

I'm not putting her down. Just pointing out that she is NOT Miss America.
Miss USA is great, but it's not as big a deal as winning Miss America.

probably that she's not even a real blonde...she won, we should be happy for the state not nitpicking every little thing about her/the contest, geesh. After the basketball season we had Im just thankful we finally beat Florida at something...

How anyone can even begin to argue that Miss USA is as prestigious as Miss America is beyond me.
It really is like comparing the NCAA Tournament to the NIT.

I don't know about this lady. But I personally know a former Miss KY/USA and she can not only do simple college math...her grammar and spellingare flawless also. ;)
The Miss USA and Miss America are two totally separate pageants run by two totally different organizations. IMHO, one is not better than the other...they are just different.

Dyslexia, dyscalculia, whatever, have no connection to intelligence, other than IQ must be average or above to qualify as such. FWIW ;).

All I know is that there were the same number of amazing women in Miss USA as there are in Miss America. Winning the top spot out of 50 IS a big deal.... and she is quite the looker!
