Commoners should have delete powers

Sometimes I say something dumb and want to take it back.

Sometimes I make a post and it doesn't draw at all like I thought it would.

I am not the only one. I am curious as to why we don't have the ability to do so and would like to discuss it.

Add my name to that list. "Delete" powers would be really nice..for the same reasons you mentioned and more.

Also, if we could have the ability to "IGNORE" certain posters, it would help make things a bit more peaceful on the forums. :D

Simply put this board software doesn't grant the users that ability. Only people that can are moderators, super moderators, and admin. But the good news though is that this action is on the wish list of future board updates according to the board software people.

So, in the meantime, you can edit your post and delete what you write in it and then submit it. If I so happen to see a place one with just the edit tagline in it, I delete it.
