What happened here Rick? I started the thread, but your post is now first at a time that precedes the time of my post. How does that happen?

They were posted one minute apart, so I merged them into one and it merges by time of post.

No. I would have gone to the UL game here in Louisville, but my youngest had a makeup soccer game. With my oldest playing baseball and my youngest soccer and tae qwon do, its hard to find time to make it to Lexington.

But, I have really been loving UK's site a streaming play-by-play. I think UK's website has to be as good as most in the NCAA.

They are going to be on FOX against Murray State Wed. Check your listings, but they are on here for sure.

They will also be here in Nashville this coming weekend to play Vandy, so I'll get down for those 3 games.

The feed on UKAthletics Extreme Access went out after the 6th, so I had to listen from there on.

Way to go, CATS!

I think more of these should be posted simultaneously to the b-ball or f-ball forum until more people become aware of the team's success.

They've got a chanc to be ranked in the top 15, or so, after this.

The most impressive thing I got from this series was the crowd. Previously, baseball game crowds have been sparse with many open seats. However, duringthese past couple of series there have been few extra seats. I'm glad to see the high attendance figures, the energetic crowds, and the great games where the players are soo happy and appreciative to have the huge crowds. I'd like to see this continue through the years!

Hey Caveman Catfan...the UK game at Da Ville was great. Weather was perfect. Several of us went and sat together amoung many Blue fans. Sorry you missed it. Gave me the fever to want to watch a game in Lexington now. I'm going to do my best to make one.

I made it out for the game today. Perfect weather, great crowd (lots of energy) and great game! I had not been to the stadium since the upgrades were done nad it really has a great look and great atmosphere. It was an awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I have a question for anyone that might know. Who are the legit prospects on this team. Just based on my one observation I would guess John Shelby (seems to do everything well) and Ryan Striebe (55 or more RBI's in 40 games) both look like they could play porfessionally. Striebe stands about 6'5" at first base. Watching him swing a bat reminded me of former Braves' star, Dale Murphy.

YES!!! :)I was thrilled we had won the series, but to have SWEPT the Gamecocks is just unreal! Too, not only was South Carolina a ranked opponent, but also an opponent ranked SEVENTH in the nation!

Way to go, Bat Cats! This news makes my day! :)

Tana, you and Mike should head down to Nashville this weekend and go with me to the Cats games against Vandy.

I havea double-header on Saturday that I must attend. My oldest is swinging the bat well and isrunning the bases as well as anyone on his team. For me to make a game, it will have to be in Lexington. But, I sure would love to join you on the road in Nashville. It would be a blast to show up on the road in blue and cheer on the Cats!!!

Mike, the Cats play in Vandy every other season and I have been to all of them since I moved here. The players and coaches always come over to the UK sectionafter the game and thank everyone for supporting them. I always thought that was very classy.

Good to hear your son is tearing it up. Nothing like watching yourkids playing ball. I was very sad at Senior Day last year knowing my boys baseball days were over. Enjoy each and every game he plays in.
