Who wins the season ending series? Will they play Monday in Yankee Stadium?

I hate to say it but I think the Yankees will win this series. The Red Sox pitching has really been faltering lately and their hittin has been spotty except for Big Papi.

I would love to see a three way tie between those two and the Indians. If that happens the Yanks/Red Sox would play again at Fenway on Monday. The loser of that game would play the Indians for the wild card on Tuesday. That would be something to see.

Personally, I hope it's the Sox. But given the history when these two teams go at it, it could go either way.

Glad to see some of the Nation have the baseball jones still. I say the Yankees pull it thru and the Sox go home sad again.

Red Sox beat the Yanks to pull even with two games to go. The Indians lose a heartbreaker in 13 innings and are now a game behind in the Wild card. The Phillies have crept to within a game of the wild card in the NL after they beat the Nats and the Astros blew a game to the Cubs. Looks like it's going to be a wild weekend!

I was at the yanks game last Thursday for a bachelor party. My buddy who got married is a huge Red Sox fan that happens to live in NYC. All 15 of us wore Red Sox t-shirts under our button downs. The Yanks ended up beating the O's, but when we all took our button downs off in the eightt inning, we needed a police escort from our section. Probably not the smartest thing I've ever done. I hate the Red Sox and yanks, but the Red Sox more. Whata bunch of prima-donnas. "Manny being Manny..." most ridiclous thing I've ever heard. Guy makes 20 mill a year and he mails it in more times than he plays hard. We should all have it so rough. And Big Sloppy sticks up for him like it's ok. Kevin Millar? Dude, get a hit every now and again and then do the TV circuit. Johnny Damon? Class act there. Openly cheats on his wife, marries the whore that he cheated with, writes a book, goes on Oprah and acts like he and his new slut wife did nothing wrong. Bunch of scumbag aholes. The Yanks aren't much better, but you would never see Jeter/Bernie/A-Rod/Posada pulling that crap. Act like you've been there before...clearly the Red Sox don't.

That felt good...sorry for the rant.

Yanks clinch AL East with a win over Boston yesterday. If Boston wins today they wil be the AL wildcard. If Red Soxlose and Indians win there will be a playof between the two in Bostontomorrow. If both lose today,Boston is the wild card.

Astros and Phils both win so the Astros are still a game up with one to play. If they tie a playoff will be in Philly tomorrow.
