Due to Hatch

For those interested, the Eagle's eggs are due to hatch any time now. Possibly even today?

Also for those concerned about seeing daylight video of the nest when it is Dark in BC, the reason for that is that they replay that days video at night. This iswatched by people all over the world and it wouldn't be much fun for them to watch a dark screen. :) With the site getting so many hits watching during the day can be a pain because of so many freezes of the stream.Late at night or early am it is much better.

Thanks for posting this. Mymemory is so short. I had almost forgotten about the hatching time being near. It's pretty cool to get to watch nature without disturbing it.

Sad news,

Several days ago the first egg was rejected from the nest. It was long over due to hatch. It was not fertile. Sadly today the second egg met the same fate.

Something just about as sad was watching Momma Eagle still sitting on an empty nest as if there was an egg there. Just viewing her and it looks like she is just about to leave the nest.

Maybe next year.

This is very sad. I am a huge fan of eagles and I really enjoyed watching them and was looking forward to watching the hatchlings.

I just saw that. I am going to post a separate thread about it. I was looking forward to watching them feed the little ones. :)
