with Porter going to Prep School

Opinion around the internet communities seems tobe now that Young may be a longshot.The kid seemsto beMemphis lean at the moment...but things can change on a dime in recruiting.

From all I've read, itlookslike a Porter/Meeks/Jasper/Wright class is shaping up with Thompson leaning toward UCLA now and Perry Stephenson sort of a forgotten man.

One thing most are in agreement on: we have to get B. Wright locked up.

As far as Porter prepping, many (including Greg) have said that Porter will be in Lexington next year. This may be true. HOWEVER, I remember these same sentiments about Adam Williams. I think it's wholly possible that Tubby has said to Porter that prep school may be an option for him. The Williams/Porter scenarios are shaping up in VERY similar ways: early signing, recruiting over both players, etc. To me, that's telling.

My take on who will be here as freshmen next year:

1)Jasper

2)Meeks

3)Wright

4)Thompson

Young eliminates UK and signs with Arkansas. JMO, take it for whatever it's worth. And yeah, the four above...look for at least 3 to be McDonald's All Americans. I'm thinking Jasper, Wright and Thompson get chosen for the game (Not Meeks, too many shooting guards ranked higher than him.)
