The last time the Bengals started 4-0, it was on to the SUPER BOWL!

And to make your point even more, in '87 the Eagles lost in the Super Bowl the year before the Bengals went to the Super Bowl in '88. And we all know who lost the super bowl last year? *lol* The the stars aligned for the Bengals? And if you listen to the announcers also for the Washington/Seattle game. The last time the Redskin started 3 and 0 they went on to the Super bowl as well.
So, anybody wants to take Redskins/Bengals in this years Super bowl? *lol*

True and this Jaguar fan wanted to slap the offense around after this weeks showing.

T,
I think the Redskins won the Super Bowl the year before the Bengals lost. I believe it was Timmy Smith and Doug Williams going crazy in that game.

and the combined record of the opponents are 3-8, so the 4-0 start is not too surprising. I'm not stating the Bengals are overrated, but Super Bowl talk is a bit too much.....

The run defense is suspect as they showed today. Penalties killed their offensive momentum today.
The bengals might not be for real, but they are playing a hell of alot better than the last 10-15 years.

You could be right. I probably should had looked it up before saying it. I'm just going by the words of the commentors. I'm going to go and look it up now.

Ok, I just checked! Looks like the commentors were wrong afterall. It was '88 when Washington won the super bowl. In '89 Cincy lost in the super bowl. In '87, it was the Giants over Denver. So, the Eagles were no were near the super bowl. Sorry.

if the Bengals play like they did against the Vikings....i'd bet $100 on the Bengals vs Patriots...although they won, the Texas game they played like ______. I mean, if you think they are the real deal this year...and believe me alot of people around here think that....including myself, then we cannot play the same game against anyone else. The Texans havent won a game and they're still a fairly new team, and we barely won...Marvin Lewis is the best thing (besides firing Huggins) thats happened in Cincinnati, Ohio in many years! [come on haters....come get me]
