How did I know that you would be the first person to respond to thisquestion, Jordan? :lol:You are my true traveling buddy.
How about the SEC tourny in Hoover Alabama? Only 6 hours from Louisville.

Looks like from the regional venues that we could also play in Columbia, SC or Tallahassee (I hope) or even Tuscaloosa. I sure as hell don't wan't to go near Chapel Hill and spend afternoons vomiting at the sight of 5000 tarheels in (retch) baby blue.

Wish it was on the weekend. I would maybe think about going. Have a graduation to attend on the 25th.

In Chapel Hill or Columbia I'm there. Already have my tix for the CWS regardless if UK goes or not. It's a blast.

SEC tourney in Hoover is a blast! My wife and I lived about 1.5 miles from the Hoover Met, and used to go watch games there every year. At the time, I wasn't much of a college baseball fan, but you can't help but get into it there! Of course, I wore my blue every day and got laughed at, but who's laughing now??? :> One time, I was on Fox Sports South holding my blue UK hat right in front of the camera. Of course, this was during an Alabama/South Carolina championship game (2002 I believe?) My wife was embarrassed.
Anyway, in summation, SEC tourney in Hoover is a blast!

All I remember about Hoover is that UK recruit (football) Lance Rhodes was from there. I believe he ended up at ASU. Great HS football program.

Hoover is just south of Birmingham. AWESOME High School football program. The Hoover Met is where the Birmingham Barons play ball.

Once the stomping ground of a certain "baseball player" named Michael Jordan.
