This is just the kind of kid we need in our program. A tough PF that isn't afraid to get physical down low. I've whatched all of his mini reels and have to say that it is very very impresive. But the more articles I read, the more it sounds like he's UNC bound. Like on one he said hopefully after my visit to North Carolina, I will have come to a descion. Alot of people know more then me on this situation. Any opinions on were he will end up?

I hate waiting for things like this. I'm so impactiant.

We'll know a little more about Wright tomorrow. If Spencer Hawes commits, that's one less spot. Not to mention, do you think he wants to play behind TH for at least a year? UNC has signed Lawson/Ellington for next year's class to go along with TH andCopeland, Ginyardand Frasor from this year. There is more of a log jam there as far as how many basketballs will they have to go around. I think he's ours to lose, as does Bob Gibbons/John Delong and everyone else not affiliated with Vandy.

Day early apparently. He was supposed to have a press conference tomorrow. That helps UNC's chances with Wright, that is for sure.

Still think he's here. Close to home, loves Tubby, can be option 1/2 right away. At UNC he'll be option 3-4 right away and likely 1-2-3 with Ellington/TH the following year.

In recruiting nothing is truly sure until these guys sign on the dotted line.

If we go by recent history and look at the top players that UK has gone after in comptetition with Duke or UNC, the odds are that he goes to UNC. Tubby's record isn't very good on that front. This would surely be a good time to break that pattern.

Other than Tyler, care to elaborate? Duke, Duhon/Burgess/Avery and someone from this class, so Duke yes, UNC not really.

T75 has posted the same thing about four times, and I've asked him that exact question every time. He has yet to answer. :?

As a matter of fact, I've quoted T75's posts a bunch of times in the past year, and I don't ever remember him saying anything back. He tends to be a thinking man's pessimist, and I like to set him straight. ;)I'm beginning to wonder if he doesn't like me. :dude:

i'm just a little worried. it's taken him a long time to make up his mind. and if it was 99.9% sure that he'd come to UK, then why wouldnt he have committed earlier? based on what a lot of people are saying, he sounds UK bound. but i hat ewhen a recruit goes to UNC or Duke after us, simply cuz those schools always get the best recruits. let's just hope our guys are right. he would be the biggest pickup tubby's ever gotten.

did you listen to brandan wright's interview on KSR per tubbythegreat's post? he seemed to talk up Vanderbilt. everyone seems to be talking UNC and UK, but sounds to me like Vandy had a good showing and it stuck with him

I will be thorughly and totally SHOCKED and BEWILDERED if Brandan doesnt come to UK...that is how sure I am.

So is TCCAT, so is NJWIldcat, so are a number of other people I cant name.

But your comment is safe. If he doesnt you sure can say "I TOLD YOU SO".

I wont come back and do that when he commits. I have said it for over a year now and I dont plan to change.

God knows I want that to be true and signs point that but I have been following the recruiting game long enough to know to not let myself go to excited until they sign.

Hey, Jones Lab. I like you! You're a UK fan and I tend to like UK fans, even those who don't always agree with me, because I think that's ok--and others seem to be right as often as I am when we disagree.

I generally don't post in order to argue, prove my point, etc. I also don't go back through records to back up my opinions (which are just that.) I don't think that you will find many posts in which I "defend" myself against differing opinions--I just don't feel the need. I write what I think and then let it go.

Anyhow, it's nice to know that someone sometimes reads some of my posts. :D

Wright has already made his visit with UK right ? You only get one offical visit per school ? So why did UK not wait for MM to bring in Wright ? Just wondering I sure hope he commits soon I don't like the fact that he is going to UNC for a visit. We needWright and Thompson, Ithink to make this another AWESOME CLASS !!!

CC, thats great news. Ifu don't mind me asking, how will he fit into the program. And what player would u compare him to?

CrowdControl

I dont like player comparisons.

but if you want one,,, Chris Bosh, with a jumper.

Tayshaun Prince minus the 3.

Somewhere in that vicinity.
