Lafayette (Ind.) Jeff senior-to-be guard Jesse Berry is a rising prospect on the national scene. He holds a handful of offers and is hoping for more to come his way.

The high-scoring 6-foot-1, 170-pound point guard averaged 16 points and six assists for the SYF Players this spring after pouring in 27 points a game as a junior at Lafayette Jeff. He scored over 40 points six times during his junior season, including games of 51 and 55 points.

But this summer, Berry is trying to become more of a combo guard.

"When I talk to a lot of college coaches, they tell me I'm going to be a combo guard, where I can play one and two," Berry said. "I'm just working hard on my point guard skills."

Berry is also seeing his list of schools grow. He has offers from Cincinnati, Butler, Dayton and Ball State and is hearing from other schools like Xavier, Notre Dame, New Mexico, Minnesota, Indiana, Memphis, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Providence, Arizona, Texas and Kentucky others.
