Johnny O’Bryant played twice today and both times outings were intense and, at times, impressive. He is able to get up and down the floor quickly and really battles on the glass and defensively. He has the tendency to flash some atheleticism as well, showing it in the morning session with a few tough finishes around the basket. I’ve yet to see his jumpshot really look nice and it may be something that he’ll need to work on through the rest of his high school career. O’Bryant said that UK remains in his top 5 and nothing has changed in terms of his recruitment. He currently doesn’t have any unofficial visits planned. O’Bryant’s team lost a heartbreaker in the afternoon session and his Jackson Tigers were knocked from the tournament.
