Scout.com Player Evaluation:
STRENGTHS- Cutback Ability, Power, Vision
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT- Breakaway Speed

Malcome is not a blazer out of the backfield, but he has enough speed to go with his power, vision, and patience to make him one of the top backs in the South. He is a down hill runner, but he also has very good cutback ability. He runs through arm tackles, he has enough quickness to get to the edge of the defense, and he is a back that is the compete package. - Chad Simmons - South Recruiting Analyst

Biography:
Ken Malcome missed four games during his junior season (with right knee and ankle sprains) but still rushed for over 980 yards and 14 touchdowns. He says he can bench 300-pounds and squats 400. Malcome also runs track (10.9 100m, 22.5 200m), but only plans on playing football in college.

Malcome reports a 2.4 core GPA and an 810 SAT. He is awaiting his results from the May 2 SAT retake.

Malcome: “I’ve got good vision and cut back ability. I’m powerful and a great downhill runner. I’m gonna run you over.

I’m a big powerback. “I want to improve my speed and agility. I’d like to get better at making moves and jukes and not just overpowering guys.”
