They keep calling Shelby an outfielder. Doesn't he play a lot more second base than he does outfield?

Not sure. He did not have a good day Sunday. I'm thinking he struck out each time he batted. Fortunately, a good hitting day for him wasn't needed.

I've only noticed him at 2nd base.

he plays second base, but i think he is listed inf/of. our starting outfielders are usually cowgill (rf), lehmann (lf), and dejesus (cf).
