Sometimes. I amaze myself. I told you all that OJ was here last summer with Ellis playing pickup games.
He talked with the staff and when Huggy left.
well, now were to this point.
Still a time to go and work to do...
BUT...
VERY interesting.

interesting that he put better to have too much talent, than not enough. i agree with the statment, but i think it'd be better to have a good balance between the two. too much talent leads to bickering over ball time and scoring, which could lend it's way to transfers or disciplinary actions.
dunno, guess i just wanted to write in. good post CC, always enjoy what you have to say

If Mayo and Walker both come here...there is going to have to be quite a few defections to the NBA or a couple of transfers.

Which is likely to happen. Again, they will be frosh 07'-08'. We lose Sims/Perry/Thomas for sure, and Woo/Shag if they aren't gone after this year. If Joe Crawford blows up (or his dad goes to prison...j/k) we could lose him as well. That leaves us with at least five schollies to fill.

Why...
We lose 5 people after next season...
We have AT LEAST 5 scholarships to give for their class.\
Why would we need "a few defections".
No one has committed in that class.

If you add up what you just said, that is 6. Dont forget. Wright COULD BE one and done.. that would be 7.

UK would still be on track to have Ramel, Jodie, Porter, Adam Williams, Jasper, plus maybe Crawford and Rondo.

No way RR is here in 07/08. Of that group above, exactly two guys can play the forward spot. Thus, Walker/Ellis fit right in. You make room for Mayo, he's that good.
07/08
Bradley, Williams, Meeks, Jasper, Porter, Crawford, Carter, another big from this year. That's eight, five schollies at least to give. 3 go to forwards/centers 2 to guards.
