Been some rumors on the Vandy board that Wright has canceled his UNC visit. It's in the premy board thats says Wright to Cancel UNC visit. But I don't have a subscription to that. So thats it.. This could be just a rumor, I guess it comes down to how much reputation theyhave. But I don't think they would post it in the premy board if it wasn't true. But who knows. If anyone has anymore information regarding this, please speak......

I've seen the post but can't read it like you. My guess is that there is nothing really there to substantiate what the link hints. If there was such news, KY fans would have either heard it or found it by now. KY fans are far more in tune with the b-ball recruiting news than Vandy fans will ever be and I find it hard to believe that they have some nugget that we haven't heard yet.

This isn't a rumor. It's also on CP. But I'm now hearing the visit is back on. I don't really know who to believe. We will have to wait for Frank or CC to come by and clarify it for us.

According to John DeLong, Wright hasn't cancelled his visit yet, but JD hasn't spoke to him in a few days. That's unusual because he usually calls back. I'll see what I can find out.

Frank, I'm also hearing that Wright has cut it to two schools. Duke and UK. Being UK favorite. It's tempting to go ahead and subsrcibe to Vandy just to see this information. hmm.

Vandy is getting the lip service though. UK is out in front. UNC was two, Duke now two. BW is smart enough to look at recruiting classes of the current and past year. He knows where the PT is and where he has the most opportunity to be the man.

So whats up with the UNC visit? I guess it's back on. Thats weird. Why would he first cancel it, and then decide to go through with it anyways? Weird

guy's i wouldn't worry too much about vandy's site. they were just dogging the kid last week. imo, i don't think it's a lock for us and wright. i know a lot of people do. i'm not worried about it though. it's never the end of the world. the one thing i don't like is the fact he didn't return calls. imo when a kid stops returning calls to people he's usually been very responsive to it could mean a decision has been made. please keep in mind i claim to have 0 inside info. my fingers are crossed until he announce. but, either way you guys gotta remember we are UK we will be fine.

Just to clarify, he stopped returning calls to the UNC recruiting geeks. That to me is a good thing. I still can't get a call back on the MM thing from my boy at UNC.

Their premy board started rumors when the coach told Coach Kommercial that they were third. With the news of all the other commitments at UNC, most ASSUMED without TALKING to everyone who the players were.

The asst coach at BA said that UK is still the clear leader (and probable commitment) and that Vandy was second (the news is also that this started because Kevin Stallings son plays for Brentwood Academy). And the visits were out of that respect.

He will make his mind when he wants to, and when he announces we will know.

He wont give a timetable except that its before signing date (Nov 9)

Exactly. I've said all along he is just giving the lip service to Vandy for a couple of reasons:

Stallings kid is at BA

Mr.Basketball votes

Kind of like Bush/Brohm listing UK until signing day...

There is a very reliable source on another board that says brandan is a done deal for uk....he has been right for as long as i have been reading his info..i will believe what he says and not worry..you all should too..its just recruiting...people get too bent out of shape over this stuff..

Yes. He is still visiting even with the commitments as of now.

Brandan could change his mind today or tomorrow, but as of now he is visiting.
