I am trying to arrange a trip to Hawaii next year for the Maui Classic and am getting a stone wall on my ticket questions from the source. Anyone on here ever go to the Maui Classic? If so, what is the bet way/process to go through to get tickets? I'm trying to arrange a trip with my Dad and this is the one x factor in the equasion. Thanks.

Yes, I went to Maui in 2006 for the first time. We got our travel package from Oahu Travel. To guarantee tickets to the game, I believe you will have to go through them. You can possibly get tickets from scalpers but there is no guarantee. You can get just a booster ticket package with only tickets to the UK games or you can purchase the whole package with tickets to all games. If I remember correctly, Oahu travel will preview their package and cost on their website in Jan with packages going on sale sometime in Jan or early Feb, dont quite remember which one.

We've been lucky enough to go twice. Each time I booked my own trip, bought general admission tickets through a 1-800 number and saved hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Leading up to the day of the ticket sale, you need a bracket to get an idea of which session the Cats play in. I've been fortunate to get in but basically decided to go to Maui whether I had tickets or not. It's nerve wracking but it can be done.

First step, get on the Maui Invitational mailing list for ticket updates.

Second, find a condo for a better deal with lots of room and amenities. :icon_mrgreen:
Good places to get started.
