NCAA Hosting Question

What kind of affect does losing 3 out of the last 4 games have on Kentucky hosting a NCAA Regional? Looks to me like hosting a regional would be a longshot, now.

Your performance in the SEC Tourneyusually doesn't hurt your chances of hosting a regional. However, I think that losing that last series to Georgia probably did more damage to our chances of hosting. If we had won that series and entered the tourney as the out-right champions with the No.1 seed, we would have been ranked above both Alabama and UGA in all the polls. After today's game, we have the appearance of a team that may have peaked already.
