Vandy - UGA Game

Vandy is pounding UGA 8-2 midway through the fifth inning. I guess the Bulldog pitchers are "no match" for the Vandy offense.

Two Vandy errors give UGA a couple of runs in the bottom of the 6th to cut the 'Dores' lead to 8 - 4.

They would appear to be the opponent.....Vandy's up 9 to 4 in the bottom of the 8th.

There are two teams that I really want to beat in this tourney. One is Georgia, the other is Alabama. We get our shot at the first one tomorrow morning. They are our top competition for hosting a regional.

They won that game with a combination of three pitchers (Moreau, Warren and Fields). I think that it was due more to our "dead bats" than their pitching.

Georgia used three pitchers in that 4-0 shutout on Sunday. Moreau went 4 1/3 innings, Warren went 3 innings and Field went 1 2/3 innings.

None of those pitchers were used today.

Two games into the SEC Tournament, the higher seed has ended up in the loser's bracket. Baseball is a funny (odd, notcomical)game.
