The players listed have shown flashes of being prime time (some more than others). Some have been consistent and have improved (Bradley and Moss), while others have been all over the board. SOMEONE will have to pick up their game this year. Who will it be?

Crawford must fill the shoes of Kaz if the Cats want to be a contender.

Truer words were never spoken.
To me, it's very simple:
If Joe Crawford does not improve, then UK is no more than a top 20 team.
If he can really fill Azubuike's shoes (12+ ppg; 35%+ from the three point line), then we are a legitimate top 5 team.
And now, a BOLD statement: Joe Crawford is as important a player as UK has had since Scott Padgett in 1998.

So, if Woo has a big year, it looks like some people are going to be shocked.

I would really be shocked. I've always pegged Woo for one of those players that just had so much time to make up because he didn't play much basketball when he was young. He's raw in so many ways. And Shagari - he's definitely raw, but you can tell with Shagari that he has adjusted to the speed of the game better than Woo. Woo consistently gets in foul trouble because he just cannot (at least until the end of last season) keep up with the game's flow.
I think Woo can be a body, and a defensive stopper (he's a thick seven feet). But I don't see him as a player Tubby calls on to do much of anything else.
However, I noticed in Tubby's comments at the Rotary Club last week, he said the job at starting center was up in the air. Said that he was going to throw Woo and Shagari up in the air, and whoever landed on his feet would get the job. To me, I don't think there's any question that Shagari should get the starting job until Morris comes back. But maybe Tubby sees something I don't.
