As the Piston's tied up the Eastern Confrence finals, Tayshaun Prince once again delivered an amazing performance, perhaps his best of the playoffs so far.

24 Points
10-20 on field goals (got him the ball more!)
1-4 on threes
11 rebounds
3 assists
1 block
only two turnovers

Great game Tay, you aren't a star just yet, but if you keep it up you could very well become one.

You know, Tayshaun not only plays well, he's such a good guy. I mean really: is there anybody nicer than Tayshaun Prince in an interview? Last night he was apparently called a name by Dick Bevetta, and instead of calling him out, Tayshaun said, "Things like that happen sometimes." I'll never forget the day Tayshaun had the presence of mind, 5 minutes after a game had ended, to wish NBC's sideline reporter a happy Mother's Day.

Pat Riley was really high on Tayshaun last night. He called Tayshaun "outstanding" and really spoke highly of him.

I have a poster hanging downstairs. Old clippings from Tayshaun's junior season. I happened to look at it last night because we were down there when it was storming. One of the headlines reads, "SAME OLD SCRIPT. PRINCE SAVES THE CATS AGAIN." :D Brought back some good memories.

Nice post, Will. Too, Tayshaun's being"such a good guy" makes it that much more fun to pull for this former Cat. Tayshaun is CLASS. It is no surprise that both Coach Smith and Coach Riley speak so highly of Tayshaun.

Yes,Tayshaun is not only shining on the court, but also in his interviews, including that one last night. Tayshaun Prince makes me SMILE! :):):)

A big 29 for Tayshaun tonight in a Pistons win.

Like folks were saying the other night, he should be more of a factor in the offense. Detroit needs to rely less on the Rasheed Wallace threes 5 seconds into the shot clock and maybe less on the Rip Hamilton push shots from 12 feet (only the toughest shot in the game) and get Tayshaun involved more.

When they go to the man, good things happen.
