After one day of ticket sales, reserved seats have been sold out for the NCAA baseball regional this week at the University of Kentucky's Cliff Hagan Stadium.

OK, so if my wife and I drive up Friday night, can we still get tix at the gate? And if so, would the seats be any good or what if we brought our own chairs?

Heard tonight that the only tix available were on e-bay. Don't know if that is true but it was on local tv. My brother tried by phone all day and never got through.

This is very nice to see.


I just walked by Foley Field here in Athens, and saw a basically empty stadium.
UGA doesn't play until tonight, but still, there is no indication anywhere that tonight's game has been sold out.
Granted, it probably will sell out during the game, being Friday night, but certainly not in advance, like what has happened in Lexington.

I'm watching Vandy-Michigan on TV, also a relatively empty stadium (in Atlanta).

Lexington is a great sports town.
People will always come out and support a team, especially a winner.

I think this is wonderful.
