ESPN analysts talking about how Prince is the most under-rated player in the league.... 29 points and 7 rebounds... 11-17 from the field, 0 turnovers!!!
and he crammed one in Mourning's face... I LOVE IT!

:thumbup Fantastic! I love the 29 points....but I especially love the zero turnovers....but especially the 29 points!
Loved it when he got chippy with Mourning after the little cheap shot Zo threw at him. No quit in that Wildcat. Can you imagine T squaring offagainst Zo:shock:I don't think it would have been pretty for our Wildcat.... Mourning has digressed into a cheap shot artist. Just another in a long line of Hoya thugs....

But what was with Pat's "It's like a snowflake falling off a bamboo leaf" comment? That was just a tad too obscure for me. Clearly, Riley has spent too many years in L.A. Marvelous game from the Thin Man, although. Notice how when he comes through big time they never lose, and when he doesn't show up they get their clocks cleaned? He is clearly one of the key ingredients on this team of equals, but they really need Hamilton to show up for the next game or I think their run is over.

Hamilton and Rasheed. Both need to come through to win on the road.
Sheed needs to lay off the refs. When he starts in, I think it sets a bad precedent. Pretty soon, all the Pistons are barking at the refs every trip down. Sheed needs to just shut up and play. I know I'm not the first to say that.

Prince will be an All Star in this league very soon, probably next season as the Pistons may loose a starter or two. I'm happy to see him doing so well. As I've said many times Tubby should use this guy to his advantage at every recruiting stop.
Agree with Sheed just shutting his trap and playing ball. He's really struggled since his big 'guarantee' in the Cavs series.

Just out of curiousity, which of the starters do you not think will be wearing a Piston's uniform next year??? I'm pretty sure they will all still be around

I watched the entire game too and it was great to see Tay do so well. I think most of us felt Tay could have a career in the NBA but I also think most of us didn't expect him to do as well as he has. He has been much more durable than most expected. From what we see now Tay may have as long a career as anyone and become a very rich man. :)

Not to take anything away from Tayshaun, but did anyone else see Ben Wallace's block that sent O'neal tumbling to the floor? And despite what Shaq said, it was NOT a foul

Besides, shaq pushed someone down to get that wide open anyway. Ben did put a little bit of body contact on him down low, but they were letting that stuff go all night. Shaq just had to finally eat it, all of it.

Either of the Wallace boys. Ben seems a bit unhappy with Flip and Sheed, well, he's Sheed so who knows with him. Of course, if they end up advancing past Miami then all bets are off.

I can see where you're coming from, but I think they will all remain intact for another run next season no matter what happens... the only player (i'm almost 100% positive) who's contract runs out after this year is Ben Wallace, but Dumar's has already been quoted as saying they'll do what they have to do to keep him in Detroit

It was a great night for Tayshuan- and for Antoine Walker, too. 'Toine played darn well for the Heat. Pretty unselfishly for him. But it was Tayshaun's game.
Prince has been the most consistent player for Detroit the entire playoffs. He's played well in each series and hasn't had but one or two poor outings. Really a breakout postseason for our man Tayshaun.:thumbup

I have to disagree. I thought it should have been a foul. He hit Shaq low and Shaq couldn't jump. If he hadn't hit Shaq low, Shaq would have put both the ball and Ben Wallace's hand through the goal.

Nice post, RaleighCat. Too, yes, both Tayshaun and Antoine Walker are really helping their teams in the playoffs.
Last night Tayshaun was just outstanding, and it feels so good to see him doing so well. Also, like KentuckyJim, I have saidmany times that Coach Smith should be using Tayshaun Prince (and also other Cats he has coachedwho are now performing well in the NBA) "tohis advantage at every recruiting stop." KUDOS to Tayshaun Prince!

I just don't see where he hit him low... b/c Wallace came flying in at the perfect angle and his body was off to the side as he was throwing Shaq... oh well, even if it were a foul, it's just retribution for all the fouls O'Neal gets away with.
