New Kansas City Arena site

It's ugly but it's needed for downtown. Right now Kemper Arena has seen it's best day with being in the wrong area to start with and the maintenance hasn't been the best with open bird nests inside the Arena. What KC did was really stupid was to renovate Kaufmann Stadium instead of building downtown. So basically the county is plopping 250 dollars right into a parking lot with nothing around it. Instead for 350 million they could have had a nice downtown stadium with urban views and things to do after the ballgame. Right now you go to the Stadium and jump into your car after the game and put no money into the city or county after the game.
