Patrick will always be one of my favorite players. One of my all-time favorite moments was when he just continued to throw a dagger into Alabama's heart in the second half of that game.

And of course, one of the best shots in the history of the game, when he hit the three against Michigan State. The outcome wasn't what we all would have liked, but that was one of the best shots I've ever had the privilege to see.

The pros are missing a bet. They could draft Sparks with RR and have one outstanding player. They shouldn't be roommates though. I don't think the pros have roommates of the same sex.

I am one of Sparks biggest fans. He is one of my all time favorites because of the fact that he was from Ky and played his hardest for the team that he was representing. I hope that we can get some more players who are as passionate about the team as he and a few of the other Ky boys were. I had to watch the highlight video twice. He will be missed:cry:

When Patrick was "on a streak," it was a thing of beauty. I will surely miss Patrick Sparks at UK.

Although I do not fault the official for not calling the foul on Patrick's three-pointer in the last seconds of regulationagainst MSU a year ago, I still feel with all my heart that Patrick sinks that potential free throw, taking UK to that coveted Final Four. What a legend Patrick would have been if that had occurred! Regardless, there are some GREAT memories for us UK fans. :)

win more games the best thing that happen in ky games was for patrick to miss his first couple shots then he wouldnt shot anymore if he made his firs shot he ending up shoting all kinds of air balls going like 4 for 20 shotting we would of been better of if he would of tried to go pro last year

Sparks will be missed.

But beofre the 06 season ends, I firmly believe our guard play will be talked about nationally as one of the best.

We will continue on...Just like we did when Prince left, and Bogans, and Buike. It would be nice to have RR, but there us nothing we can do about it now. Just rebuild.

I was more critical than pretty much everyone else of this board of Patrick this last season. Be that as it may, the bottom line was that when he played well, our chances of winning went way, way up. His performance, probably more than anyone else's, was a huge factor in our performance as a whole, making him one of the team's most important players. His contributions will be missed.

His shooting will be missed and when he was on fire, UK was nearly unbeatable. I will miss that. That said, his leaving allows a more normal lineup and should allow for an upgrade in D and in rebounding. He has about as many great highlights for a guy who can't dunk as anyone I can remember. He hit a ton of big shots. I have no idea who is going to take them for UK next year.

What are you thinking man. PS was the heart and soul of the team last year. If he played bad the team played bad. He and BS were our only true point guards. I'm not downing RR, but he didn't run our offense very well. He dribbled way too much.
