This is one hell of a game. Turn it on if you get a chance. (NBC)

It's good to see the Hurricanes winning.. Hopefully them and Nashville can stab off the relocation talks and rumors.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire game. I sure was hoping the Canes would pull it off. Gonna be tough winning Game 6 up North.

I'm not hearing any relo rumors about the Hurricanes. They've played in two of the last 3 Stanley Cups and are on solid financial footing.... Solid, not spectacular, attendance numbers the last few years.

Disappointing to lose in OT on a short handed goal, last night. Fumbled the puck right into a one on one.... I guess that makes up for the gimme that Buffalo gave up in the previous series.

I'm with you Tom. The Canes may not sell out every game, but they bring in large enough crowds and with the Yankee population growing down here, attendance is bound to go up.

Also, I thought it was gameone vs. Edmonton that the gimme goal ended the game with like 30 seconds left. I think it was the rookie goalie after Roloson got hurt.

Lifetime Oilers fan here.

Edmonton is lucky to be going home.
Scoring a shorthanded goal in OT is simply amazing. Did I read that that was the first in the history of the Stanley Cup Finals?

The Oilers' Chris Pronger also had the only Penalty Shot goal in Finals history in Game 1.

Cam Ward has actually been brilliant in Edmonton, so far.

I actually expect him to be more relaxed, playing in his home, with his parents sitting in their regular seats.

I hope Edmonton can pull it out on Saturday, but I have my doubts.

The NHL badly needs a game 7 for all the marbles. It could actually bring some casual fans back into the fold for a night.

Go Oilers!

Congratulations to two players that I've been a fan of for a long time, Mark Recchi and Rob Brindamour, and the Carolina Hurricances for winning the 2006 Stanley Cup.

Are any of the Carolina people going to the parade?

Congrats to the Hurricanes.

And congrats to the NHL on a great 2005-6 season.

They got the best they could ask for really, in terms of a play-offs. (I guess Detroit-NY might've been a better Finals - but I like Edmonton! ;))

Carolina has a great team, and its goalie, Cam Ward, handles himself very well.

I had no sickness watching those guys skate with the cup.

Some folks around the office here are talking about it (the parade).... Unfortunately, Lisa and I have a social commitment elsewhere....
