It was released on May 30th. Over 1000 minutes on 7 DVD's, it has all 7 games plus pre-game and post game interviews. This from the back cover........

The 1975 World Series is treasured by baseball fans and historians as one of the most exciting, dramatic, and important events in the history of Major League Baseball. The mighty Cincinnati Reds lineup was stacked with players who would win the MVP award six times between 1970 and 1977. The Boston Red Sox defeated the three-time World Champion Oakland A's and were led by Fred Lynn, AL MVP and Rookie of the Year. For eleven days these stellar clubs staged an unforgettable performance that capture the attention of the entire sporting world, and in the process created some of the most indelible baseball television images in memory.

This unprecedented seven-DVD collector's edition preserves all of the remarkable history of the 1975 World Series with the actual broadcast of each game! It was unbelievable the first time--today the game action and heroics are even more exhilarating. Intensify your viewing of each game with the official stats, data, and game summaries on SleeveStats, the perfect companion to the ultimate baseball DVD experience.

I ordered my copy today from DeepDiscountDVD for $33. Cant wait to watch it again, havent seen them since watching live as a kid.

I got mine from deepdiscountdvd.com on Monday. I finished watching game one last night. It's great to be able to see my baseball heroes from youth come back to life. They showed Marty Bennaman setting in the booth with Joe Garagiola and I didn't recogonize Marty. He looked so young. Curt Gowdy, Tony Kubek and Dick Stockton did the game. At this time NBC would have one of home team announcers help out in the booth. Stockton was doing Red Sox games then. Marty will doing the games in Cincinnati. I have seen games six on seven on ESPN Classic since 1975 but not any of the other games. It's a treat and good deal if you are Reds fan you should buy this DVD set. I hope MLB is starting to release a lot of World Series and maybe playoff series from the past. I would like to get most of 70's World Series and some of the playoff series, especially the one's involving theReds.

Rick, there is a sound glitch in game one in the 6th and 7th inning. The sound isout of syncha few seconds. Others on Redszone.com said it was the same with their DVD's. I think it was an NBC problem back then. It didn't bother me. I am just glad to be able to see these games again.

1975,1991 and 2001 World Series are the best I have seen. You could argue for any of those three and not be wrong.
