Replying with a quote??

When I reply to a post with the "quote" button, I can't (most of the time) get the cursor to appear after the quote. Is there a secret I am missing??

When you hit the quote button you notice that the cursor is at the top. All you have to do is hit the down arrow key until you are at the very bottom and the arrow key doesn't work anymore. Then once there, hit return. Then what I do after you hit return it jumps down to far so I hit the backspace key once and then start my message. Let me know if you got it.

I must be doing something wrong. I did the down arrow but when I hit enter, it goes back to the top of the quote. Is the "return" key differant than the "enter" key?

no, it's not. Are you hitting the down arrow key all the way down until you can't go any further and then hit return or enter? It doesn't matter which one you hit.

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox's new beta 1.5 version, I cannot get the cursor below the quotes myself. Tried different methods including the down arrow which is what I had done in the past.. now that doesn't even work. I still think the next BB Forum software fix/update needs to put the cursor at the bottom anyway.

You are correct. I figured it out last night. The down arrow works with IE6 but not the Firefox beta.

I have firefox and I don't have any problems. I hit down arrow it puts a giant cursor after the quote and hit enter key and here it is.

Is it the beta version? Hmmmm, it worked this time? Go figure. LOL
