TN won 14-7.

Game really didn't have a whole lot of excitement. I guess a Ky fan would feel that way if we only scored 7 points. Game was delayed 15? mins., I guess because of traffic problems.

Fortunately the 7 points came from UK signee Warford on a touchdown run. In the fourth quarter he also broke a long one, I'd say around 50 yards. If you attended last year's game and remember David Jones play I think you might see positive comparisons.

Josh Minton impressed me the most. Seems to have a really high motor with quickness and speed.

Corey Peters: I didn't really key in on him a lot but seems to be a solid player with just as much upside as any of the current DT's, save maybe Myron. I'd guess his weight at 280-285.

Justin Jefferies: Redshirt candidate IMO.

Micah Johnson: Really no single play stands out. However it seemed that his name was called all night long with being in on the tackle. Seems to be in the right place at the right time. My early comparison to his play-making abilities would be Marty Moore. He made one, maybe two bone-headed plays. The first was hitting a guy probably two good steps out of bounds. I think he also got a 15 yard face masking penalty also. As far as Micah the running back; he was put in on two short yardage situations. On one he just got a yard or two, but that was to get a first down which he did. He was initially stopped but kept driving and driving. From my vantage point one ref marked him short where he first seemed to be stopped while another ref spotted the ball after the final effort. On his second carry I think he got a couple of yards. I think both carries were straight up the middle so there wasn't much opportunity to display speed or elusiveness. He contributed a bunch on Special Teams as well. I'm glad he wore the #1 and represented the state well. Scutllebut from the stands: He might work out some w Ben Guidugli this summer toimprove his strength.BenMAYhave had the highest bench on the team. Forgot the number but it was way up there. Ben's dad, a professional trainer, has been lauded inTHE ENQUIRER (Cincinnati).

From the excuse dept., I think Ky would have won if Burke and/or Fiddler had played. But maybe TN had a few key guys out as well.

I think Micah will be working out with the team on the Lexington campus. Is Ben's dad planning to come to Lexington to work with Micah? I doubt it.

As I understand it TN only had 2-3 D-1 signess on their team.

Thanks for the report, Sam. I surely wish we had kept our streak alive, though.
