With Clemson apparently finished recruiting quarterbacks for this class, and with no interest from hometown USC, Spring Valley QB B.J. Phillips (6-6 225) is looking hard at other ACC and SEC schools which are showing serious interest. Phillips says his current co-favorites are North Carolina and Vanderbilt. Those two have offered along with Kentucky and Rutgers. He is also getting good interest from Maryland. All the schools have been calling Phillips. "Vanderbilt and North Carolina are coming at me the most," he said. Phillips has been to Kentucky, North Carolina and Vanderbilt for games and plans to take official visits to at least Vanderbilt and North Carolina.

QB B.J. Phillips (6-6 225) of Spring Valley is making an official visit to North Carolina this weekend according to his coach Jimmy Noonan. Philllips will make an official visit to Vanderbilt next weekend, and he will also set a date for a visit to Kentucky. All three of those schools have offered Phillips.

QB B.J. Phillips (6-6 225) made his official visit to North Carolina over the weekend and enjoyed his time in Chapel Hill. "Everything went as well as we had expected," Phillips said. "I got to meet a lot of the players on may own. I got there Saturday morning and I spent most of Sunday with the coaches." Phillips said North Carolina and Vanderbilt are his top two right now. He was going to visit Vandy this weekend but that trip won't take place until December. He will visit Kentucky November 25th.
