Decided to put the smack away for at least one thread. My family and I went to Disney World last week. As many of you probably know, they have four main theme parks, and two water parks. We went from early morning to late at night for a solid week. My son wanted to stay and watch the fireworks. I really didn't want to, because I've seen fireworks many times over the years, but the one at the Magic Kingdom is spectacular beyond words. Of all the rides, I think I enjoyed the "Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" the best. It's a free fall from 13 floors up. There are many other great rides.
On a side note, I did see a few people wearing "Kentucky" and "Louisville" shirts, but saw Many wearing "Duke" and "North Carolina" shirts and hats. We went to the Florida Mall, and they had a huge sports store there. What blew my mind was that they sold Duke and North Carolina gear there, but no Kentucky or Louisville stuff.

We went to Disney in Dec 04 for Christmas and had a ball. The Tower of Terror was probably my favorite ride along with Aerosmith's Rock 'n Roll Roller Coaster. We had so much fun at all parks. I thought Downtown Disney was pretty cool too.

It was my first time going and I felt like this big goofy kid while visiting. I can't wait to go back.

Glad your family had a wondeful time.

Never been. Not big on rides.

Use to love roller coasters, but after I broke my back, I can't walk upright for a week after riding ne.

Tower of Terror??? NO thanks! I took my son his senior year of high school.4 days at Disney World w. his mother. A trip I'll never forget. He went off by himself at night for a little while, but during the day stuck close by me (I had the $$). He talked me in to going on the Tower of Terror. I thought I was going to die. Never again will I get on the darn thing. He laughed his head off at me. I've been to DW several times. I never tire of it. Was a little disappointed in Animal Kingdom.

We drove up to Disney World while down at the Gator Bowl. it was my very first time there. We didn't get to spend much time at each park, as we only stayed for one day, but I had a wonderful time. I had such a great time I forgot how hungover I was (the night before was New Years Eve). Definitely want to go back and spend more time there. We had to skip MGM all together, and that was really the main park I wanted to see.
