YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Chicago White Sox are going to the World Series.
Holy Crap.
I never thought I would see it. From the very first ChiSox game I ever saw, the no-hitter against the Orioles.
-Trading Sammy Sosa for George Bell. (George Bell? You kidding me???)
-The strike-shortened year
-The miserable sweep against the Mariners
Now. After all this.
I'm gonna say it again:
You cannnnnnnnnn putitontheboooooooooooooard....................YYY YEEEEESSSSS!!!!

Whether it's the cards or astros...this ws is going to be boring.

I hope you mean "boring" in the sense of the ChiSox are going to bury whomever they end up playing.........;)
Depending on what happens tonight, it could make the Series either very good (pitching-wise), or really give the ChiSox a boost.
I'm half-tempted to root for the Cards, to get the Astros staff out of sync for Game 1 Saturday, but at the same time, I don't want there to be any excuses should the ChiSox win.

I give all appropriate praise and kudos to the White Sox for winning the Series, but I just could not for the life of me get excited about watching this particular WS. I'm not a huge baseball fan anyway, and when I do watch, the ChiSox and the Astros are no where near my favorite teams. But that's just me. I'm happy for the long suffering fans in Chicago who have waited so long to celebrate a World Series champion. Enjoy the moment! :D

No this remark is based upon having visited Wrigley many times over the years with family living no more than 3 blocks from Wrigley. No true Cub or White Sox fan would root for the other team. I have taken in games at Wrigley in 83, 88, 94 and 02. Plus I have gotten sick with the constant media love affair with the Cubbies while ignoring the White Sox.

I happen to be a lifelong Cubs fan but that doesn't make me wish ill will on the White Sox. I've been rooting for them thruout the series and couldn't be happier right now.
