Wow, no wonder Grandpa was wanting this guy on the team. He's got more moves than U-Haul. "OK, I'll play....on second thought, I quit....just kidding, I'll play...whoops, I quit again!" Hard to make a mockery of a mockery, but he managed to do it.
The only player in UK history that's had a barnstorming tour in Basketball AND Football.

The young man wanted to try his hand at playing football and it didn't work. It's not like he actually played in a game. He was basically a walk-on..no different than the no-telling how many walkons there are every year at every school. If he was just another college kid who tried to make the football team and failed, this wouldn't even rate a mention.
You guys would find smack in the way our players tie their shoelaces or put their jerseys on. Man, this stuff gets old!
Give it a rest.

Out of respect for you and catkilla, I won't respond in the manner I felt compelled to. It would be out of line anyway.
I'll just leave this one alone.

He didn't really quit. He was suspended 6 games for...umm....umm.....recieving illegal payments during the barnstorming tour. UK has to players to plaly in exhibition games?

Moss, a senior who was trying out as a receiver after his basketball eligibility ended, was ruled ineligible for half the football season for his paid appearance in a barnstorming game that included an autograph session.

I don't have a problem with the kid playing football, but after he quit once then said "I'm back for good this time" and then quits again...that's subject to smack my friend.

Yes, let's continue. Can you name another school, who has a player that kills his fellow passengers driving drunk, and then has a player sing, on national TV, about having friends in low places, Where the whiskey drowns And the beer chases my blues away. What about exposing themselves to little boys? Shall we continue........

This thread is completely stupid and a stretch at smack. He was a basketball player how wanted to try out for the football team. He quit first time because he wanted to enjoy his last few semesters at UK. Then he decided to come back because he thought he might have a real chance at playing time. Then he got the bad news that he would be suspended for 6 games for taking money for the barnstorming tour (which every player does after they graduate along with the signings). In all seriousness if he had stayed on the team I would have been more surprised if you suspended for 6 games and were only going to have a chance to play in a few gameswould you really want to go though all that practice and such.

If you really want to start naming all the felons on teams then I am sure then you will come up with the short end of that stick so I think a change of topic is in order.

White Castle? How can you eat that slop? My mom brought some home to my step-dad once, and she had them to triple bag them to keep the smell out of the car for the long ride home.
The best burger I have had in a long time was from Sonic. Pretty good burger to be so cheap.
I'm doing work from home till I go back to work in a few weeks. I can't wait to get back to work instead of being here most of the time.
