A few obstacles not stopping Greenville’s Boswell

...Another one of those obstacles that keep clogging up Boswell’s life is the stack of letters from college coaches from across the country. Letters from “Arizona State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee — everywhere,” Sosebee said. “Marckus could play just about anywhere he wants to.”
Which is another sort of obstacle. While all those high-powered football schools are keenly interested in him, Boswell re-reads the letters he received from Kentucky with even more enthusiasm.
“I’m going to play football in college, but I’d rather play basketball,” he said. “Everybody’s writing, but I’m (looking at) the University of Kentucky.”

Greenville High WR Lamarckus Boswell (5-11 165) was the point man in the wide open passing offense for coach Larry Frost last season. Boswell caught an eye popping 131 passes for over 2000 yards and 25 touchdowns. "He has great hands and he changes directions well in his routes," Frost said. "He runs precise routes. And if it's close to him, he's going to catch it. And he makes great decisions on running the football." Frost said USC and Clemson head up the schools showing strong early interest in Boswell. Most of the other SEC and ACC schools are corresponding with him including Miami, Notre Dame, Maryland, Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Kentucky. He is also hearing from Notre Dame, Nebraska, Michigan and Arizona. Frost said Boswell has not trimmed his list and does not have a group of favorites at this point.

Despite an eye popping 131 catches for 2000 yards and 25 touchdowns last season, Greenville WR Lamarckus Boswell is not reeling in many scholarship offers this spring. Kentucky remains his only offer at this point according to his coach Jimmy Sosebee. But Boswell is drawing interest from several others including USC, Clemson, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Auburn, Oklahoma, Michigan, Florida State, Miami, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Maryland. He plans to attend team camps this summer at Kentucky, Alabama, USC, Wofford and Wake Forest.

Kentucky remains the only official offer thus far for Greenville WR LaMarckus Boswell (5-11 165) according to coach Jimmy Sosebee, but he says USC and Clemson have told him they plan to offer Boswell. The coach said Boswell is a lean to Kentucky since that's his only offer. Boswell has been to team camps at Kentucky and Alabama. Sosebee added that his junior quarterback Matt Lynch (6-2 205) is also getting strong interest from Kentucky which has indicated an offer will be made. Alabama also likes him. Lynch started at free safety last season.
